We provide long term residential care for children, young adults, and adults with both developmental disabilities and skilled nursing needs.

Star Care at Renaissance is a unique setting in which skilled nursing care, school and day training services, case management, and family integration are combined to enhance the overall quality of life of each individual for whom we care.

Definition of Developmental Disability

A severe, chronic disability which is caused by a mental or physical impairment, or a combination of both, such as mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, or autism and is manifested before the age of 22 and is likely to continue indefinitely. This can include a brain injury that has occurred before the age of 22. It can also include many other related intellectual disabilities.
